ORIGIN: Very little is known about the origins of the man calling himself Cord, other than the fact that he originates from the planet Gortha (hence the reason he wears the traditional Gorthan face mask). He first appeared on the scene as a work-for-hire hero. Over the years he has fought aliens, armies, dictators and more, all in the pursuit of the greater good, as well as a decent paycheck. For a period of time he even found himself on earth as a member of the superhero team Thunderstrike.
