REAL NAME: Prof. Cornelius Star
ORIGIN: Growing up, Cornelius Star was generally at the top of his class. Now, this was partly because of his intelligence, and partly because of his wealth. His family was wealthy. Very wealthy. His father used his connections to get him into college, and make sure his grades were where they needed to be. Upon his father’s death Cornelius inherrited the family business, Star Industries. Believing himself to be smarter than he actually was, Cornelius used the business to experiment with the possibility of harnessing the power of a black hole. His experiments failed. An explosion at the lab leveled three city blocks and gave him incredible powers.

POWERS: Cornelius Star not only has enhanced speed, strength, and durability, but he can harness very limited amounts of black hole energy to create energy weapons, fly, and even transport himself form place-to-place. Fortunately for heroes around the world, Cornelius has never fully mastered the extent of his (often unstable) abilities, leaving him relegated to a life as a second-tier villain.
