ORIGIN: As the protector of the planet Shekka, Velaspro Geldoff was granted the powers of Heaven after winning the right in a planet-wide election. He was chosen from a field of 200 potentials who campaigned, debated, and tried their best to convince the public why they should be chosen. As a man of considerable wealth, Velaspro used his connections in and out of government to sway the public in his favor, and win with a landslide of nearly 60% of the vote.
