ORIGIN: While working construction on a high rise, Fred Dryer found himself caught in the middle of a battle between two superpowered beings. A blast from cosmic energy infused his body, and his toolbox, with incredible powers. Fred decided to use his newfound abilities for good, joined the government-funded superteam, The League, and quickly became one of its most prominent members.Eventually he retired from the superhero business and lived the quiet life, before being murdered by Matt Mattney.
